Enterprise Geodatabase Feature Class
The Prince George County WaterBodies feature class existing on Thursday, February 2nd, 2014 was adapted from VBMP_2002_Hydro.shp, streams_org, and possibly other data sources. The VBMP_2002_Hydro.shp is a hydrography feature class by Virginia Tech’s Virginia Geospatial Extension Program and digitized primarily from 2002 Virginia Base Mapping Program (VBMP) orthoimagery. Individual features had since been added or updated to reflect updated imagery, contours, and wetland features. Attributes and some features were updated from the NHDArea and NHDWaterbody feature classes within the U.S. Geological Survey's National Hydrography Dataset state-wide geodatabase for Virginia acquired on November 5th, 2013.
Updated feature class with new attribute fields. Within boundaries of Prince George County and Hopewell, imported missing water bodies from the NHDWaterbody feature class within the National Hydrography Dataset from November 5th, 2013. Set FSource for imported features to "NHD 2013.11.05".
